Jack R. Luderer, M.D. Dr. Jack R. Luderer serves as the InformMed chief medical officer. Luderer, a physician, executive, and medical research specialist with more than 25 years of experience in the life sciences arena, became executive director of Western Michigan University’s Biosciences research and Commercialization Center in 2005. Prior to BRCC, he served Pharmacia as Vice-President for U.S. Medical Affairs after a successful term as the Vice President for Clinical Pharmacology and Development. Luderer received his medical degree from Northwestern University. He also holds a Masters Degree in Chemistry and is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology. He has held academic appointments in the Departments of Medicine and Pharmacology at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and the clinical faculty at Michigan State University College of Medicine. Chief Clinical Officer Kathy Francis, a registered nurse, is co-founder of InformMed. As the chief
patient safety visionary, she is responsible for all clinical activities
including the clinical solution roadmap for the pac2 System. With 15 years of
hands on experience as a nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU),
Interventional Radiology and Post-Anesthesia Care units at Evanston Northwestern
Hospital, Francis experienced the need for a solution that reduced the risk of
medication errors at the bedside. With this insight, she conceived and patented
the pac2 solution. Prior to forming InformMed, she worked as a management
consultant to the healthcare industry in organizational design and new program
development. She is an expert in the medical error marketplace and has written
and published journal articles related to healthcare issues.
